I literally do not know how to pick out edibles and continue to just buy the one brand and kind I take because I know what to expect. How do I read all these labels and find options? If I’m looking to feel relaxed but not knocked unconscious, what am I looking for?

You are certainly not alone in being confused by the many numbers and letters on edible packaging lately. In many ways, it's better than the good old days of sprinkling some weed on top of Ritz crackers smothered in peanut butter and throwing them in the toaster, then scarfing them down in the party bus on the way to after-prom -- not that I would know anything about that. But it's also much more complicated, and it forces some math into the equation of getting high. Since everyone's different in terms of what they're looking for, I made you a flowchart to guide you through the many types of edibles -- plus a few of my favorites.
